Am after one too.
I heard they been withdrawn from sale until the software problem has been solved. |

If you don't mind ordering from Switzerland, you can still get them brand new from www.relec.ch I got mine there too and everything went well. The only thing to keep in mind is that CH is not in the European Union and therefore you have to pay customs. I don't know about UK, but for Germany it was 19% on top of what I already paid to relec. And I had to pick it up at a customs office next to my hometown...
The other thing to keep in mind is that the Indi seems to cause troubles on some TFTs. There are a bunch of people here on eab who are quite unhappy with this. I am running mine on a plain old CRT monitor and the picture is crystal clear. |

It would be 20% VAT plus whatever import duties.
180 CHfrancs is a lot of money too. Is there nowhere cheaper? That is about £130 I think Needs to be at least £40 less for me at present. |

I searched for quite a while and to my knowledge, relec is the only commercial place where you can still get them brand new. If you're looking for a lower price, I fear you have to try getting a used one...

A SCART lead is almost as good and a whole lot less expensive.

Not the a1200 version, but the A4000/CD32 version is available from GGS data. Got one just a few weeks ago.

While I agree that the price is silly, you cant compare this to a scart.
