Question Requesting Burntime AGA

I think i need your help on this one, i actually need some graphics from the game for my remake but i was unable to rip anything from the game. The sprites are stored in ST Mode sometimes up to 8 bitplanes, well i tried for like 5hours but i could not get them to look right, maybe someone has more luck.

Thanks!

Put a save state in the zone and I will have a look at it

if you meant something like this then i will have a deeper look at the game...

well i think the problem is that you never used the skip mode before...

try it again and you may get the same results...

btw: AGA games are harder to rip because the hardware use many other techs to display graphics...please prefer OCS/ECS games...sometimes there are no differents between ECS/AGA games...mostly...

yeah but if you compare burntime ecs to aga version you will notice the difference

i have put a savestate in the zone

try:

Off 353454 Siz: X288 Y32 for the items
Off 2722504 Siz: X144 Y259 for the animations
Off 121527 Siz: X720 Y551 for the faces

The Tiles are not the Problem, those can be found here:
799568 X32 Y 32 Bit 8 PalA 1044 Mode ST, Skip P 16

so i do know the skip modes as well, used them very often in some of my rips

let me know if you could rip those things

Thanks a lot!

Managed to get a few smal sprites/icons with the right pallete, found the other sprites in AM mode x=288 with 1 bitplane, but it looks like there is a mask cos it shows 9 images for each sprite which would mean 9 bitplanes so one has to be a mask IMO.Couldn`t get the other bitplanes to line up right,

so you had no luck either

well i have found an HDF file, and i did a test with gfxrip and it looks like the sprites are stored somehow in the file.

Im still to dumb *lol* to setup my own virtual amiga in winuae, when i provide the file would someone be able to mount the hardfile and check if the sprites are stored as iff/lbm or something like this?

Thanks!

http://www.fromheaven.de/burntime_tileset.png

took me 20 hours to capture, rip and sort out

all in one 900kb file

For the sprites i managed to extract the files from the HDF file or the ADFs, now i have a 800kb file called "Burntime" which contains the sprites, does anyone have an idea how i can unpack/decrunch this file ?

any help greatly appreciated!

Hey guys,

sorry for digging up this thread but I lost all of my data including backups to a fire. If someone still has that Burntime tiles sheet (formerly uploaded to http://www.fromheaven.de/burntime_tileset.png ) and / or Rips from Gods please PM me!

Thanks!
