How do I - Is it Possible ?

Hiya EAB team,

I have been wondering if its possible to:

when including images from an exteranl source, is there a way i can limmit thier size to a thumbnail using the [img] tag.

This would save a lot of downloading time when viewing pages / threads etc.

if this is not possible, perhaps this could be an idea for another update?

cheers

Z.

Even if it was possible, it wouldn't save download time, just screen space. Files on external sources are linked directly, so EAB cannot manipulate them, only how they are displayed. What you can do is generate thumbnails (or use the services of various image hosts to do it automatically) and then hyperlink (with [url]) to the real images.

@eLowar

I have my own host ..... hmmm.... it generates thumbnails, I am just unsure how to get eab to use them (as they seem internal to the gallery software.

is there way i can have a picture as a link ?!
