I would have thought, that its rather unofficial (Skillion translation).[/quote]
Not exactly, I search in olds spanish magacines and find advertisings from Erbe (The spanish distributor of US Gold and Lucas Games) with references to the programs are with texts in spanish. But this not necessarily means that US Gold made the traslation, perhaps Erbe did.My copy of Murder is the tosec version craked by skillion, and are not citation that the program are traslate by the cracker |

Very probable.
That's why I often set ERBE as Spanish publisher, not distributor, since they're a bit more than "just" a distributor. A distributor normally doesn't change anything in the soft- or hardware, nor would he in the boxes; but as you can see, they did not just lacklusterly slam a sticker on the boxes, but really "incorporated" their logo into both the box and the disk! That's normally beyond those things a distributor would do. |

Yes, I agree. I only use word distributor because the company called itsef as "distribuidor en exclusiva" in your advertisigns.
In the list of programs in spanish of the company you can see titles like Drakkhen by Infogrames, Ports of call by Aegis and Chrono Quest 2 by psygnosis that at the moment are losing, in all of them the advertisign say "incluye textos en pantalla e instrucciones completas en castellano" even in Chrono Quest say that the voice are translated too. |

There were the AVENTURAS A.D. games liek "La Aventura Original", I don't think those were ever translated to English.
Also, the Coktel Vision games usually had a Spanish version too. |
