Suggestion when exiting WinUAE...

When UAE is running in fullscreen, and you press F12, it switches to Windows desktop, and displays the configuration window. Now if you press "Quit", it will switch back to the emulation screen, and then again (finally !) switch back to Win desktop before exiting: why the hell does have to switch back to the emulation screen, when I select "Quit" ?!

Same goes with the tray icon menu => quit: let's say UAE is running in fullscreen, you use alt+tab to switch to windows desktop, do some stuff and say "let's exit UAE" => tray icon => exit menu and it switches back to UAE screen before exiting and finally switches back to win desktop...

No, not always, at least not for me. It solely depends on the ratio of your Windows resolution and the resolution on which you're running WinUAE.
Try different resolutions (e. g. also a lower one for Windows); you should at least see one of them with the configuration window appearing on top of the "Amiga" screen, i. e. one case when WinUAE will not switch to the Desktop.

Yes, you're right... but the same problem appears if you are running WinUAE in fullscreen, press alt+tab and then click on tray icon and select exit on the menu...

This is a real problem and can happen in several cases.

Why is this a real problem for you if this is the exit process of the programm?
I have also the second behaviour of the emu (full screen exit with alt-tab or middle mouse button) but for me that doesn´t matter.

Clicking Quit/Exit only sets flag which is checked in main emulation loop and only when it is safe to exit. Of course this can be improved but it is yet another "not worth the trouble" update

Use ALT-F4 to exit
