Open Transport Tycoon

Open Transport Tycoon is an open source "clone" of Transport Tycoon, the best Railroad Tycoon like game ever released . It's really great, the original binaries of TTDeluxe have been disassembled and converted to C, so it's as close to the original as possible (It needs the original TTDeluxe data files to run, like ScummVM).

There are now Versions for Windows, Linux and recently AmigaOS and MorphOS

Heres a screenshot of it running on MorphOS: http://www.christianrosentreter.com/cache/ottd2.png

Let's download it before someones pulls the plug off it, like with the Another World thing.

Big grin

I read somewhere that Transport Tycoon has the worst AI of all time... is it the case with this remake?

Looks like a pretty good game tho... I'd like to try it.

Thanks for the link! Just played it for two hours, and apart from the missing music, it's working fine.

As for the AI, it was already pretty decent in the original 'non-Deluxe' version. No idea where you got this urban legend from.

hmm, seems to be very similar to TTDpatch, but without the ability to include new graphics
they even tell on their website that its inspired by TTDpatch (which is still under development, too), so if you have the original TTD-files anyways i would suggest having a look at TTDpatch, too (latest versions are in source-code section)
