Floppy disk Accelerator/Expansion for A1200 worth buying these days (PCMCIA fully compatible)

Hello,

what to look for, is there anything in production/planned?
I am talking some 150 € limit here tops, maybe a bit more.

What to look for?

I would say ACA1221lc. It's brand new, comes with a warranty, and those new ACAs have a pretty good track record regarding compatibility. Fits right in your budget with a price of 148EUR. The next step with 030 cards is way more expensive.

You would get an awesome speed boost that could allow a feature-rich Workbench, and a basic level entry into Amiga 3D games. Most of them are unplayable on a stock A1200.
