why closing down a thread.
I was trying to get some help by posting in the "old rare games req" about a game I was looking for..
I HAVE read the RED topic about "how to download old games.. and tried every link there but didn´t find it there.. so after that I post a message in that "old bla bla" forum and asked for help.. but my thread closed down for some strange reason.. sometimes I think its very hard knowing which the right forum for a subject are.. |

If I'm not mistaken, the thread has been closed because the game is available (in two versions) on planetemu, which il listed in the post-it about how to download games.

The only issue however is that some still have problems d/l from sites like PlanetEMU. Not sure if this is the case however

You requested a game. Drake pointed you to a site which is in our FAQ and that has TWO versions of the game in question.
Therefore I closed the thread. if you cannot download from PlanetEMU is not our problem, there are other choices there that you can check, and we cannot vow for the reliability of the websites we link to, since we don;t mantain them. Quote:
Did you check IRC? If it was available at Planetemu that means this game is easily obtainable through an IRC fileserv. By the way, questions about the EAB and its workings should be posted at the EAB Probs section. I moved this thread accordingly. |

The link Drake found did not work.. so that´s why I choosed to write a post here.. I didn´t think the whole world would go under just for a simple question like that..

As I said, the fact that you can't download from Planetemu (the link DOES work), is not of our concern. Try IRC instead.
Looks to me that you just don't want to. |

Maybe it's time to update the FAQ though. The game is available in the TOSEC set. I can't believe there aren't other sites carrying the TOSEC sets than Planetemu.

Probably. Planet Emu seems to be bringing more troubles than solutions.

They are not many FFS! hehe.. but I just wrote that I read the FAQ´s and followed the links .. right? I just can´t understand why you make so much noise regarding my post.. have a nice day! |
