Hhmm... Sounds crap!
Doom with no Demons, no Doomed Space Marines & not taking place in Mars, is ... well.... a novel.

Where is your Heavy Combat Armor, assault Plasma rifle, BFG9000 & your fat reward on the cool special effects?
It smells like Rotten meat but it looks like someone fucked up the license!

If by reading that small snippet of info is really what the movie is based on, then it sounds more like a Resident Evil clone without that lovely eye candy Mila Jovovich

Well at least it doesn't have female lead characters, like ALL ghost / monster related movies nowadays (they even changed the plot for the planned Silent Hill movie to have female leads in stead of Harry Mason from Silent Hill 1) And it's not a rip-off from an already perfect japanese movie.

So maybe this movie is going to have some entertainment value, who knows.

I've seen that movie. I didn't like it that much.
Apart from the ship traveling to hell, there wasn't anything else common with Doom.
It reminded it more of the "Sphere" than Doom.
