Turrican H.D fan art
Hi!
I don't know if this is in the right place or not (sorry admin!) Here's a tribute piece to Turrican I drew over the weekend   This is a smaller version of the bigger piece: http://captainnow.deviantart.com/art...-art-568488693 I know some of you like this sort of thing. There are no plans to turn it into an actual game, it was just for fun!

Thanks guys!
I Know that you can't beat the real thing and those original pixels, but every now and again I imagine what they would look like H.D. I'd like to draw a Speedball 2 one but I live in hopes that Dan Malone will go back to that series and give us HIS H.D art (which is just amazing, still!). I think I will do a little more work on this as and when I have time, maybe draw some of the enemies and powerups etc. I'll post them to this thread if I do |

That fist looks sick! That's pretty much as close as you can get to HD graphics with the Amiga feel to them. Well done.
The Turrican dude is striking a bit of a Mighty Morphing Power Rangers pose though "Come at me fist-bro!"

Yeah, the pose just sort of happened, it was meant to be a doodle..but it got out of hand haha! I really am hoping to find the time to animate this guy running etc...but we'll see. I was hoping to get this week off work so i could concentrate of various projects but my boss wouldn't allow it. I am stealing an hour here and there to get things done, but it's great when I get positive feedback
