Synergy type program for Amiga?

I use synergy all the time to extend my Laptop keyboard and mouse to my PC. I have pretty good reason to do so due to a large screen and getting a lot of interference with wireless keyboards and mice.

My question - is there something that I can get that would allow me to do the same with my A1200 - ie use my laptop keyboard and mouse? What would I need for my A1200 - is an old 802.11b PCMCIA card suitable for networking? What networking software do I need? what Synergy type software would I need?

I also have a Hawk type 8Mb expansion card - does this cause PCMCIA issues?

There's actually an OS4 port on Aminet but I guess that's not what you're looking for.

And yes that 8 meg expansion will almost certainly block the PCMCIA port unless you degrade it to 4 meg.

Thanks - looks perfect.. Do I need a specific wireless card? What software do I need and what wireless protocols / encryption can I use?

See prism2 for a list of compatible cards.

Also you'll need a TCP/IP stack. I use MiamiDX. Easy to set up (mask, static IP etc.) and when configured to connect on launch and without showing the GUI it doesn't take up that much memory (~1Mb).

Only WEP encryption is supported.
