Number of pages viewable

Why is it I can now only view 20 pages per day instead of the original 100?

This will take me at least a week to read 1 magazine, utterly pointless in having the site with such constraints..

Maybe it's just me, but I have viewed 17/20 in like 5 mins

We cannot fix bugs we do not know about bippy! Nobody else has reported this bug, you should be able to view 200 pics after verifying you are not a bot! Have you disabled cookies or anything?

I can see from the logs that today many people have viewed between 100 and 200 scans.

Same here. After 20 views I need to verify I'm not a bot.
I didn't try the maximum views per day though.

I found out that after the first verification, the counter is still at about 20 but the maximum is at 100 then. So you don't need to verify every 20 views. Don't know whether this is intended or not.

Yes, you have to verify at 20 and 100, which opens up 100 and 200 scans respectively. Which should be enough as a daily limit for anyone except people wanting to steal the entire archive of scans!

What's the difference? After 20 you should have gotten the original popup which gives another 80, or did you never bother to solve the maths equation and go into the next phase?

It's best for entire site leechers to not know what's going on imho! Legit users will see the popup with the equation to solve and continue from there, and as sites like zzap64.co.uk have proven, if you don't put image protection in, all your bandwidth and work will be stolen in one foul swoop while slowing the site for legit users!

It's fine, no worries.. my apologies for being so rash, but as I hadn't been about and I didn't get to 20 pages as I didn't wanna waste them () I decided to post!

Anyway solved so let's move on

Division are too easy. I think it'd be better to ask for quadratic equations such as x^2 + 12x = -64 and ask for both solutions of x. Perhaps a few sin/cosine ones for good measure aswell!
