Networkproblem in 1.4?

I just tried to go onto these boards and a couple of other by using WinUAE 1.4 and AWeb APL.

Cached documents seems to work allright, but new connections seemed to be a problem, config/crashlog attached.

Will be (hopefully) fixed before 1.4.1. Yet another thread handling error in bsdsocket emulation. (thread writing to caller's local variable that has already been "freed"..)

Sometimes I wonder how it could have ever worked..

EDIT: it was old bug that was "fixed" previously but the fix wasn't 100% (I missed one crashing possibility)

Apparently I need to find some temporarily location for betas. hmm... (I have no idea when winuae.net works again..)

Toni Wilen: If the hosting problem is not resolved, PM me and I'd be happy to host the betas while you get winuae.net up and running again.

edit: Or find me on irc, which might be quicker, #boozoholics on efnet or #amigaexotic on ircnet.

Tried your beta yesterday, still not able to get AWeb APL to work..... I'll try again right now and see.

Hmm..... if I disable "ShapeShifter" in the ROM-selection it works... if enabled, it doesn't...... same config as above, only deselected the shapeshifter thingie. I wanted to use ShapeShifter to surf the 'net with a Mac-ish feel.....

This must be something else crashing because the crash in previous version can't happen anymore

Hmm, tried it later.... seems I can reach sites like google fine.... but my hotlisted ones doesn't comeup :/

That's prolly more inthe lines of AWEB-bug than WinUAE.
