Mouse Pointer resolution problem

At some point in WinUAE a long time ago, a weird behaviour was introduced that mangles my mouse pointer resolution.

I am booting the hdf created from my old 1996 A1200 hd, and my real Amiga never showed this problem. The funny thing is that if I click away my boot picture (an interlace picture that is displayed during boot up) the mouse pointer looks normal. But if I leave the picture display until WB comes up, the mouse pointer is mangled. The problem is that I am running so many tools (MCP) etc. that debugging this is a nightmare.

I just wanted to mention it in case someone has had similar experiences.

I am attaching a screenshots of the mangled and normal pointer.

Pointer prefs may be trying to display a high resolution pointer on a low resolution screen.

The 1.3 style prefs are loaded before IPrefs runs in the startup sequence.

Yeah, looks like pointer is converted to hires by dropping every other pixel instead of using actual hires mode sprites (that AGA chipset supports).

Initially the system starts, before the Startup-sequence runs "Iprefs" if load the "pointer.prefs", the system uses the setting pointer saved in the file "System-Configuration" normally found in Devs. If you try to rename files "System-Configuration", the system will before IPrefs, show the pointer "hardware" default and probably you will not see the malformation.
