Hi everyone first post just wondering if anyone knows what this huge thing does to a Amiga as seller does not seem to know?

I remember those! I knew one of the engineers at MicroBotics who bought one to use for his A500, and he was pretty pleased with it. The main advantage was simply that it gave you slots that you could use for most A2000 expansion cards.

Man I wanted one of those back in the day - but could never find anywhere selling one in Sydney, or anyone willing to order it in.
In the end I ended up getting a bit of kit that let me put an IDE hard drive in my A500... wish I could remember who made it (I want to say ICD? or some such). It piggy backed off one of the chips, and had a clip.. with some finessing I managed to get that 50 meg HD inside my A500 along with a kickstart switcher... |

I so wanted a Bodega Bay as a kid. Don't think I have the need or the space for one now though. :-)

Yeah, I almost bought one as well back in the day. Was always a bit out of reach price-wise for my meager teenage budget.

I remember those in the adverts in Amiga Format back in the day. What a monster! I wish I had a massive house and I would buy that kind of stuff but got to keep it all A600 small these days
