Cannot Install Old Gamepad on xp...Help please...
Hi, my friend gave me a gamepad "logic 3 JT 262", all I wanted to do was configure it with XP so I can play on winuae....
It is not usb, its serial... I downloaded the driver for it "JT 262" then control panel -> controllers -> add.... Clicked on "JT GAMEPAD" -> next It then searched for "generic gameport device".... It could not find it.... I cant find my windows disc..... any ideas????????? |

I'm fairly confident, it is not serial connector (does any controller with RS-232 connection even exist?). Probably a game port connector, which looks similar.
You need a game controller card which to plug that thing into. I'm pretty sure that's too much hassle for just to save a few bucks (you won't if you need to buy a game controller card too), when you can get a usb gamepad quite cheap these days and is probably much less hassle. |

there is no serial gamepad...
it is a gameport one, u need to connect it to your soundcard! |
