FastATA Mark VII Issue - resolved
I'm posting this here as hopefully a shortcut for the next person who encounters this.
I tried putting a known working FastATA in my A3000 which already had a Xsurf (original version) and a Picasso IV in it. The FastATA crudded up the existing Compact Flash card with my OS on it so bad that neither an Amiga nor Windoze would format it. Even swapping out my original Buster v6 for v11 made no difference. After much faffing about, it turns out that the FastATA will only work in a lower slot than the Xsurf. Don't ask me why. |
