winuae and classic wb
i have installed winuae and classic workbench. I know how to use adf and hdf files. My question is , how do i use lha and whd files. Is there some way to extract them and install them in the games drawer in classic wb. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Create directory share somwehere on your HD and attach it as directory HD. This is where you will place your WHDLoad games and other lha/archive stuff.
Start classicWB and open DirOpus. In the left window select your share disk, while in right I usually select temp directory. Select files you like to extract in left windows and click ArcExtr (or something like that). This will extract all the files you selected. Now procide to that directory and try games. If they work, move them to their final destination. (I usually create game hdf and copy my games to that drive) Hope this helps. |
