Wembley Internationl Soccer (WHDLoad Version)

I've been playing this game recently and noticed it can be buggy sometimes especially when it comes to taking a corner, the game graphics will glitch and the computer player just runs around with the ball or simply stands still.

One way to get past this is to bring up the instant replay and go back again which resets the computer so the game can continue.

Does anyone know if this happened in the normal version too or is it limited to the WHDLoad version?
