VizaWrite (text processor)

This is actually on request by another person, who doesn't come here at all (afaik).

Do not ask me if this is still sold by a public software distributor (I do NOT mean ebay!); well I have no clue. If yes, please ignore.

So does anyone happen to have this baby on ADF?

well, old posting, but finaly remade an english version of vizawrite 2.0 out of a spanish one, which surfaced some days ago: ind-vw20e.zip
have a look at the zone or Magix

To access the Zone check here: http://eab.abime.net/faq.php?faq=vb_...ezone_faq_item It's not there anymore anyway as files expire after seven days so your best bet is to hope someone uploads it again or get it from Magix's FTP.

I was just about to put the file back in The Zone! for totimato but looks like hit beat me to it

yep, indeed, i was the first
i hope totimato gives some feedback, but i'm sure i didnt miss anything. but i wonder, why the english-original never surfaced. i'm pretty sure, it was translated to spain, because most of the identlical phrases from version 1.x fits exactly, even those i found using a dictionary
ah, screwed up the release name (9 letters instead of 8). but i guess there aren't any nukers underway

I discovered my old A500 disk with a few documents which i wrote when i was 16. I couldn't open them since they were written with VizaWrite.
I was reading through files for the last hour and had a great time.
There is a weird one (file): when i try to open it i get "access denied" error. I can open any other from the disk with no problem.

glad it works for you, not mentioning some "strange spanish phrasses"

problem seems happen, if you choose File -> History -> Sign-ON and useing the "Password" entry. documents seems sort of protected doing so. opening such a document just leads to "access denied" after restarting vizawrite.

Solution: after starting vizawrite, goto "File -> History -> Sign-ON" and enter the very same values in the two fields, as you did before. now you can open the protected document

I found Vizawrite V1.06 in my amiga stash if anyone still wants it.
