Unhappy WinUAE 3.3.0 takes a while to start/reboot

Not sure why, but with every new release it takes longer to start/reboot emulator.

In my case, it takes about 10-12 seconds to start, where it used to boot in 2 second.

Reboot is taking ~ 10 second when I press Ctrl + Win + Win.

Is anyone else experiencing the same problem??

At least not on Windows 7. Works as fast (1-2 seconds) as expected.

I'm on Win 10, main HD is SSD, one where WinUAE is SATA disk. I'm on latest video driver, AMD FirePro Mobile video card.

Do you use the portable version with winuae.ini? Could be worth a try to delete it and create a new one.

Does old version still work fast? ~10s delay is common when attempting to access network share that is unavailable.

Run with log window open. (-log command line parameter)

Last 2 versions seems slower than before. I did not mind it, few seconds to initialize, but now is getting over 10 seconds to start emulator every time. Was just wondering if is just me, or everyone has similar experience.

Attached is log file.

I will try other computer later tonight.

winuaelog.txt is required. Tick Paths panel debugging checkbox, then start emulation.

-log does not create winuaelog.txt file.

Will try to specify file name...

EDIT: Never mind, fixed... attached...

It seems DVD drive causing problems... not sure tho why...

Do you have cycle exact and/or real Amiga speed on? Because then it would take as long as an Amiga would (in the case of a 68000 one, about as much as you mentioned)
With "approximate A500/A1200" speed my 030 setup takes like 6/7 seconds to boot. Just like my real machine.

I think I had something similar randomly with one HP laptop's built-in drive. It just waited in some driver code without explanation.. (It happened already with much older versions)

I switched off uaescsi.device as a workaround.

Yep, disabling uaescsi.device did make huge difference.

Wonder why this drive would create such a problem.
