Sounds funny but this one is still being sold, anyway use MSD95 from Aminet, it is faster and far ahead of ANY CrossDos Version out there (and it´s freeware) : http://ftp.uni-paderborn.de/aminetbin/find?msd95

That looks good, I hate the 8+3 MS-DOS file format.

I can't get it to work. All I get is software failure.
Read the docs and followed them, I also edited the mount list like it says in the example. Could be because I’m trying to use it with winuae? I’m not too bothered as I do have multidos Installed. |

Would've loved an Amiga nut to walk in on a press launch with an A600 or even an old 512K A500, run the basic demo's & told him to shove it up his butt!! Last edited by 7-Zark-7; 14 July 2002 at 12:21. |

He talks from the arse, like most people on the biz. That's no news.
A group of 100 Amigans loaded with A500s should go to their next press conference and show them what a real computer is |

What's wrong with Crossdos? I mean, all it's needed for is reading from and writing to PC 720K disks, right? What more features can a different program have?

I got the original version of crossdos 6 and as far as I know it´s round about ten years old (or older). There´s a new version called crossdos 7, which is still sold.

But FAT 95 works great and I don't need CrossDOS anymore.

Ehm ... does anyone of you know which CrossDOS version still supports Kickstart 1.3?
Forget the new ones ... they all only support OS 2.0 or higher. |
