For the DVD you MUST answer this :)

Ok for the runnable games i need to know the screenmodes you want them to default to when run ????

My favourite default is ( Windowed 640*480..Scanlines on.....No Led's )
This seems top look like an amiga on tv....no glitches.....and centered nicely.
You can always adjust once booted.

So whats the majority think as i need to set them all the same so... PLEASE!! PLEASE!! put your info here

I hate scanlines.

I'm using filters therefore even 1024*768 fits fine!

I hate scanlines, and my monitor don't like 640x480

It likes 800x600 or 1024x768 or 1280x1024

You need 800x600 in order to include the full overscan output area of an Amiga don’t you? If not, games like Pacmania will have some of the display missing.

Problem with scanlines is they look horrible on 17” or larger monitors. On 15”, they are acceptable and nostalgic but most people have larger displays now.

So it’d be 800x600 16bit, full screen, doubled, no scanlines, directx/opengl centring, no LEDS.

Best resolution is a non-standard res somewhere in the 700’s area as it has the required output size and is fairly well centred without using other options. My Geforce2 used to offer this resolution and it was ideal. This resolution isn’t standard on ATI cards however and has to be added by the user so you can’t use it on the DVD.

If you don’t want to include directx/opengl settings in case of compatibility issues, then you can perhaps use the “centering options”. They used to leave a black box on the right hand side in 0822R7. Not sure if this has been fixed in later versions?

hey synchro, you asked for everyone's preferred resolution, why do you tell them they say shite when they tell you their fave res and doesn't agree with what you use? Just do what you want, it's your CD

800x600 Fullscreen, Scanlines (hah!) Screen Leds ON

LOL!!! Ye i mentioned that as well !!!!
But i was trying to compare notes cant you see that.....If most wrote IE...( 800*600 no scanlines....fullscreen...no led's ) then thats what i would go with....

Answers like .....i hate scanlines...OR...my monitor likes 640*480...800*600....1024*768...or whatever it says doesnt actually tell me much does it

KombatSanta was the first to get it right.....thats all i wanted. To compare the results

Its not that important......im not going to argue over it.... It wasnt rocket science just a question

800x600, no scanlines, centred. As for the rest of the options, I'm not too bothered. Seems to be the popular choice!
