Syndicate Wars
Was this game ever released??
I remember this game being the only reason why I was hanging on to my CD32 for soooo long after it had officially died (According to CD32 gamer anyway) I haven't really been looking for it, its just Syndicate was mentioned in another thread and it made me think if it was ever actually released. If it was released, an upload to the zone would be much appreciated, as long as it's an ADF version |

I'd say Syndicate wars was so much different from the original Syndicate that it probably wasn't released. And if it was I very much doubt it would be on disks.

Are you talking about the 1996 sequel here? I don't think any of the big companies like Bullfrog would have still been interested in the CD³² back then. But then again maybe a modern day Amiga conversion of the game for the newer Amigas (PPC, etc.) came out.
Can anyone confirm this? |

There is NO Syndicate Wars for ANY Amiga System, not for CD³² and not for PPC or anything I was interested in that one for a long time so I contacted Bullfrog for that ! They replied that there was a request from a little Software Company to buy a license for Syndicate Wars for the Amiga, but Bullfrog didn´t gave it to them ..... so there is a definite NO (sorry)

Although Syndicate Wars wasn't released, wasn't there a CD 32 release of Syndicate?
From memory it was just an A500 port across though-all the promises of a hi-res AGA version never eventuated. |

Syndicate Wars was planned for a PC/PSX/Saturn release (as Bub so clearly says.. PSX.... cant you guys understand him? )... But the Saturn version got canned (bloody bastards!) ...
I never heard of a CD32 version, but that would have been swell. |
