overscan and mouse settings option to be read from external file

can Whdload team add a new tooltype for games to read overscan data and mouse speed data from external file? to center the screen right in pal games forced to work ntsc and to make the slow mouse games more playable as mentioned on other threads,
that would be nice as i found many games run with better fps on ntsc but the screen is off

As far as I can remember the answer was that each game must be patched for this. If a game use "devs:system-configuration" already that it might work if you change the settings but I`m not sure. Try Dune 2 for example. Better option ist do use the original game (no WHDLoad version) if it works and runs in multitasking.

yes dune 2 can be installed to hd and works better but not all work , anyway its a pain to patch every single game and only whdload programmer knows if this can be done with an other global way, just a suggestion

A general approach would only possible for games which use a kickstart emulation or load the system-configuration file. The question is, if this is worth the effort. For all other games (>50%?) the game must be patched individually.

propably not... , the thing is i never had an amiga till i buyed one in 2006, and i remember the newer amiga games that i played on pc (first 386dx40 and then pentium pro 200) , so i want to see them more playable on amiga as it gets without emulation, i've known all the games thru Whdload installs except some games i saw at friends houses back in the day so thanks a lot for this great project anyway, just wished that programmers didnt do just atari st ports as other members here

Maybe a mouse with different dpi resolution would be a alternative.
