AFNews-68k, new program on Aminet

This is new, from yesterday and it seems a very nice idea:

Amiga Future Everywhere 68k generates a Docky with which you can be notified of new Amiga news in different ways.

It will take a while till the headlines of the news messages with a link to a newsgroup message appears. The actual news message can then be read with a simple click in your browser. Here, the user can choose how often it is checked for new news. Moreover, it can of course choose the different types of alerts free. Also you can adjust if you get news appears only in German, English or both languages.

Unfortunately here it asks for "http", and it also likes to completely crash WinUAE.

Can somebody also try it and report, please?

Ah, ok, you only have to add in "Prefs" your Web Browser, like for example IBrowse, and it works like a charm

You also can change the tool of the instructions txt files to use Multiview instead.

It looks like it is planned to use Ringhio when available for classic systems.

And now the Ringhio option is there with a button (not working yet).
