FS-UAE not recognising disks

Hi,

I normally use WinUAE but recently installed Linux Mint on my laptop & thought i'd try FS-UAE..

Well it runs ok, boots up my chosen Kickstart ROM but it can't find any of my disks. I've been told that it only looks for commercial games & checks the disk checksums against ones in a library first.

Is this true? Do all the disks have to be held in some approved database before they'll show up on FS-UAE? Sorry, but if this is true it's really impractical for the Amiga (Unless your sole interest is games I suppose) Thanks.

Hi, no, what you are referring to is another functionality where *FS-UAE Launcher* can automatically recognize games from your disk collection and create ready-to-run game entries for them.

Anyway, for FS-UAE, you can of course use any disk images you like. But there is no directory browser in FS-UAE, so you need to add the disk images to the floppy drives and/or image list before starting FS-UAE.
