Captain Planet stops loading

I've downloaded 'Captain Planet and the Planeteers (1991)(Mindscape)[cr CSL][t CSL]' from PlanetEmu (its the only copy of the game that actually loads, all the others just go to a blank white screen with a loud noise.)

Anyway my problem is that this copy loads fine up until it displays the controls when it loads the level then just stops. The music is still playing but nothing is actually loading.

I'm using the latest WinUAE with kickstart 1.3, also set the Quickstart to A500 and config is 1.3 RM, ECS Agnus, 1MB Chip RAM (I had to change it to this as otherwise it stops loading, but with music playing when you get the blue sections at the top and bottom of the screen.

Any idea as to how I can actually play it?

Set the compatibility slider to 'best compatibility', then it works with the 'most common' quickstart

Oh and welcome to EAB!

Actually for this game to stop loading is a blessing in disguise.

Cheers

Im with you on this one, where would we be without "Captain Planet, hes a hero gonna take polution down to zer.........ermmmmm"

I love this game, absolute classic, . I remember the Cartoon Classics pack appearing in my dads shop, when the A500+ came out.

I use it on WHDLoad, dont get any problems then, maybe thats the best way to go, .

I remember the cartoon lol. It was awesome, definatly made me want to save the planet (which over time has faded away lol.)

If I knew how to and what WHDLoad is then i'd use it. Took me long enough to get the ADFs working lol.
