Another World WHDload & Sprite problem!

Hello everyone on this board.

I've recently purchased Amiga Forever and created my own HD with it. I downloaded a cracked version of Another World and WHDload installer for it also.

The problem is when it asks to insert disk 1, i press F12, insert disk 1 and click proceed. It keeps asking for disk 1 however. I do own the original copy. if i can prove it would some send me the adfs?

I do own the original but have no way of transfering the adfs to my pc.

Also the sprites flash constantly through out the whole game. Its ok when running under a emulated A500 and os1.3. i would prefer to be able to install it though on my a1200 emulated amiga with HD.

Hello immodium,

Wicked game, one of my favourites...

If you want the .adf version, get it from http://www.planetemu.net (as with loads of others)...

You need to do the following from the above site:

1...Click the "Amiga" section.
2...Click "Commodore Amiga - Games - ADF".
3...Click the letter "A".
4...Find the disks required from in list.

I would download this version as I know it works perfectly:

Another World (1991)(U.S. Gold)[cr CSL](Disk 1 of 2)
Another World (1991)(U.S. Gold)[cr CSL](Disk 2 of 2)

I haven't seen the sprite issue you talk about (but I've never used WHDLoad). I'm pretty sure the general OCS quickstart works fine for this though with the .adf's.

Thanks for the speedy replys.

I will be registering whdLoad, killer program. Works for other games just still havent figured it out for another world yet. But i just got the AW manual out and it tells me how to install it with out whdload.

And yes DamienD, this game rocks. Remeber getting it when I was a kid and just playing it for hours and hours. Probably my fav game for the amiga.
