Geoff Follin passed away R.I.P.

I was warned by CNGSOFT regarding Tim Follin's brother Geoff Follin, as he passed away after being diagnosed with a pancreatic cancer on the 7th of may, things went very fast and Tim posted on FB that he died on the 30th may 2024.

I have updated his sheet on HOL accordingly.

Being a C64 aficionado for many years, I will never forget the musical talent of Geoff Follin. Together with his brother Tim Follin, created some of the most memorable and hum-able tunes for the C64. Who can forget the music from classics such as Sly Spy Secret Agent, Psycho Pigs UXB, Gauntlet 3 and Puzznic to name a few. Rest in peace C64 maestro, you will be dearly missed.

Sad news, was listening to Geoff Follin's great music on an app on my phone only yesterday. Thoughts are with his family. RIP.

The timing of it is scary too, from diagnosis to passing not even one month

So often the way with pancreatic cancer especially I think, once there are symptoms to diagnose its usually too late. Totally undeserved, especially as Geoff doesn't seem to have done anything that can cause it, and he can't've been any age. RIP Geoff. He and Tim both did great work, though he largely skipped the Amiga.

Not going to lie, my heart skipped a beat reading that. Really scary stuff. All the more reason to do the hard thing and go ahead and get my testament updated, you just never know do you :/
