Stardust memories coder took tune to Phenomena

source http://old.exotica.org.uk/info/scenery/online/s.html
beware its a long read

but Stardust memories was released as the tune to World of Commodore 92, the coder left for Phenomena...

quote:
I do not feel I've seen enough of the demo to make a fair review. ... In the samplename-message, Woober admits that he stole the samples from a mod by Jester. ..... gfx: Cruiser, music: "Stardust Memories" by Jester, "Reachtech-No Limit" by Bit ..... coder behind the utility "Syncro-Packer", left for Phenomena around mid 90. ...

interesting or i am completely sad

You have completely misunderstood what's written there! First of all, it has nothing to do with either Phenomena or Sanity (who made the WoC'92 demo). And Chaos (who coded WoC'92) never "left for Phenomena" either.

All that's written there is that a musician from the turkish group Saints stole some samples from a mod by Jester, not more, not less. And Saints were quite known for things like that... Neither interesting nor worth to open a thread about.

so it would seem...

it was quite late when i read the article and i must remember to stay away from creating threads when i am slightly worse for wear

but still it does explain why the tune in enigma sounds alot like stardust memories

but yeah your right stingray... "Neither interesting nor worth to open a thread about.", nevermind eh

It doesn't since your mentioned article has nothing to do with Enigma or WoC (the demo Jester made the stardust memories tune for). Stardust memories sounds quite similar to the tune in Enigma because Jester borrowed some samples from that very tune.
