Looks like Elbox released an new revision 1200 TX mediator

Just recently bought another 1200 TX Mediator from sordan.ie as I suspect my original 1200 TX may have a problem.
To my surprise the one delivered today appears to be a new revision and update.

I now have a 2021 Revision 2.2
The old one I currently have is a 2016 Revision 2.1

From what I can see in the differences between the 2 is the later version now comes with built in fan headers x2 for the black Elbox tower case which I already own.

Thing is Elbox don’t mention a new revision in their website.

Oh well will see what else has been changed when I try and fit it this weekend

Interesting - would be good to know if there are any firmware changes too, but that won't be so easy to spot.

Looks like it now supports PCI to PCI bridges and PCI-E to PCI adapters with a newly released version of pci.library V14 which is due soon

Looks like the A4000 is also getting a new Mk-IV DI 3V with the same features.

That’s the way I’m reading it. Just need to see if the Elbox people update their website with a new list of supported cards. Will only work when PCI.Library V 14.0 comes out.

Thanks. I guess this means existing Mediator users will need to ship their cards back to Elbox for the upgraded firmware if they want to use PCI bridges/PCI-E

Or just ask them to ship you upgraded chips and fit them yourself.

Last time I have asked for them to ship out updated chips they utterly ignored my email, so good luck with that.

I suspect they much prefer for you to purchase their new overpriced production run

Let’s see what the score is first. Miracles might happen and pci.library v14 is all the TX owners need? But then again?
