Shadow of the beast crashing problem??
HI, Just a quick query if thats ok I got shadow of the beast through (original boxed version) through the other day and am having trouble running it on my amiga 1200. It loads perfectly and lets you get into the game where it starts and you run left, where the rock usually appears as your running left, the disc accesses and the floppy light comes on and then the screen just goes crazy with all lines and garbage and nothing else. I am running an unexpanded a1200 and have tried running with orignal chipset mode and diabling the cpu caches, that didnt work. I then tried using relo kick to boot from a bog standart a500 kickstart and the same thing happened. Does anyone please have any help/suggestions?

I think it's the A1200's 68020 that's causing the problem. You'll need to run it with the WHDload patch.
When I upgraded my A500 with an 020, the exact same thing happened to me. |

the Copyprotection fails on anything higher than 68000
