Chrono Quest

Has anyone had any luck getting Chrono Quest (Psygnosis) to work on WinUAE? All I ever get is the initial dialog asking for the color on the grid but the four choices are all black and no matter what I do, it never works.

I must say that so far, my experiences have been less than stellar.

So you're inabilities in general are WinUAE's fault?

Ok, by that analogy, I wanted to load up Lemmings recently, but I picked the wrong disk image and got to play Warzone instead. Damn useless WinUAE!!!

I know what you mean. The other day I wanted to test some new games on WinUAE, but instead of my PC I turned on the microwave and I ended up playing nothing.

Don't those WinUAE boys ever beta test? This is a disgrace.

Yeah but that crack is extremely stupid and quite confusing..

Screenshot attached, you need to click "YES" couple of times and you MUST NOT click on any other button or it stops working! And it gets better, sometimes letter/number combination contains crap and it gets in "not working" mode immediately..

(another crack removes the code question screen completely)

First, let me say thank you to all those who actually tried to help. I appreciate it. I haven't gotten it to work yet but now that I know the secret, I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

To the rest of you, Thank you as well. You see, I run a small forum on a completely unrelated topic and until now, I thought my users were rude and boorish. Thanks to you, I now feel much better about my users.

Even though its an odd crack, I'm pretty sure there is mention of how to get past the copy protection screen in the cracktro or a CLI text screen before the game starts.
