Mame Launcher...Games Advice

Ok now im back working on the Mame Launcher....
Its only a few hundred games for starters but of course the popular titles....
No point in 10,000 games...seriously who plays them all and half dont work properly anyway....But all these will be working.

Ready next week all going well im already on the 200 mark this last few days.

Just to be sure im on the right track....Could you guys do a small list of what you think are the most common you would play?

Thanks !!

Not sure how many games you want to add, but Id recommend starting of with a dozen or so of the big successful game. Stuff like:

StreetFighter 2 (plus a few of the sequels, maybe Turbo, and Super SF2TX, not out of personal preference, but rather 'cos it spaces them out evenly in regards to their releases).

Motal Kombat (personally Id say 1,2,3 as in my op. the later releases felt like they were just milking it)

Ninja Turtles
Final Fight
Golden Axe
Strider
R-type
Outun
Afterburner
Powerdrift
Metal Slug
Altered Beast
Forgotten Worlds
Dragon Ninja
1942 (or one of the series)

GUess I'll keep it at that for now. Even when trying to keep it minimal I feel I could go on forever

Aliens
Bay Route
Bio Mechanical Toy
Blue's Journey
Bubble Bobble
Bomb Jack
Cadash
Caveman Ninja
Chelnov
China Gate [ Show youtube player ]
Contra
Crude Buster
Cyber-Lip

I think it's enough for some time.

For ShmupMAME:

Dodonpachi
Dodonpachi Dai-Ou-Jou
Espgaluda
Guwange
Ketsui
Progear

Note that they don't work with the current MAME build, so unless your launcher works with ShmupMAME, this is useless.

I've tried it in Windows 7 64bits and the quick search doesn't work here.
The emulation has too big pixels. Surely the screen should be smaller.

Could be the quick search doesnt work in the exe format.....Once fully compiled it seems to cure the problem.....The games seem to be in thier default screens ie 1941 opens in narrow screen...others open in full but i havent added instructions yet..

Tab key will let you set your own options and settings oce the game has loaded
