Sadly... it is unlikely you will be able to do this legally since there is little in the way of concessions from those who own copyright (even that is unclear). I think many have tried before and got done for just the logo use!

I guarantee if you tried and it become somewhat popular, Cloanto/Hyperion/Amiga Inc/whoever will come down on you. Their lawyers are always ready to pounce.
What you want has already been teased by Retro Games Ltd (the creators of TheC64 Mini/Maxi): http://www.indieretronews.com/2020/1...be-coming.html. They've presumably already got deals with the relevant license holders, as they did with TheC64. |

I seem to recall that you've already asked about the licensing, during your "Unifying The Amiga" phase. Ain't much changed since then.
Seems your new "project" is a little less ambitious, which is good, I suppose The similar thing is that, seeing as you are looking for the case and front end maker, you also haven't really got anything to show for it. |

That's exactly what TheC64 is, and if/when TheAmiga comes out, it'll probably do that too.
I'm not against the idea, but it seems like you'd be up against Retro Games Ltd. who have a big head start. |

If you pull it off, fantastic, so good luck!
I'd suggest you look into the MiSTer FPGA if you're serious about this and want it to be a truer power on/off Amiga experience. It does inflate price significantly though. |

Oh, now I see. You’re that guy who comes in here from time to time, starting new threads with speculative ideas about some new Amiga system, and when faced with reality, you delete everything you’ve written.
You remind me of how, as a school boy, I used to draw pictures of elaborate Amiga setups in my school notebook, but at least I kept those drawings to myself. Just stop it already. Even if you had the perseverance and skill to do this, it would just be more electro garbage on flea markets ten years from now. The world doesn’t need more of that kind. |

Raspberry Pi 400 ($70) (or $100 with PS, Mouse, SD card, HDMI cable) + Amiga Forever ($10) + AmiKit (Free)
Perfect setup for Amiga Mini. |

Just my personal opinion about WinUAE use issue
I really don't think it's problematic at all You only need kickstarts roms, WinUAE exe, standard configs (this mean default options for various Amiga models are already OK) Nothing difficult for me, i use this emulator since 2002 |
