Working copy of TOWER OF BABEL
The one available cracked by Quartex allows one to play a handful of puzzles/towers. The program then asks for the game disk to be placed in DF0: when the ADF is already there.
A working copy available? Thanks. |

Maybe that mysterious "game disk" is the Disk 2 from TOSEC?

No problem.
Game comprises TWO disks, not just one. Assumption: (can't test because I don't know how to play this game) First = Program disk Second = Game disk ? |

Does that mean one creates a GAME DISK from within UAE?
I've tried that and didn't work. Or, did I miss a GAME DISK from TOSEC? The copy I've only has one disk. Try this game, it's fun! |

This might be correct with only ONE disk! This mysterious "Disk 2" is bootable! Seems that I got taken in by a TOSEC naming error! Thirdly: This disk has to be tested on the real thing!!! WinUAE tried to kill my speakers with a terrible sound while decrunching/loading, then it got stuck at track 83 and didn't load anything anymore...tried with cycle-exact mode, loaded further but no success. This looks like a fucking silly attempt to copy a copy-protected original disk! Last edited by andreas; 12 July 2003 at 13:28. |

Tower of Babel manual
You can find scanned pages from the manual here:
www.washedashore.com/projects/games/3dgames.html Without these pages I would never have figured out this game. |
