g'day all

Thought I'd best intro myself seeing I've just 1st-posted elsewhere....
Usual "old" Amiga user from the 90's, C= before that. I've a couple of A500's in the repair process, battery damage, redback spiders, etc. Just finished the caps changeout on my original A600 ("....of course its necessary darling, the lawn can wait!!!"). Its now running constantly to prove all OK, booting 3.1 via an IDE to SD card adapter, lan connected via 3C589 card. Have been using Amiga Forever since the v1.0, great idea. As per first post, I'm pretty keen on tomthul's IDE/RAM boards on Amibay, as well as the Indiv Comps A500 accelerator. Get a lot of pleasure browsing these forums, cheers to all and hi from sunny Newcastle Australia.

You got redback spiders in your miggys?

Always nice to see the memberlist growing on here.

Hi guys, thanks for the welcomes! Yes I did have a few spiders in the spares bin, now its cockroaches!. Just checking the A600, all looks good after the repairs. Hard drive light doesn't activate when accessed, I've read a bit about this with some other card adapters, will have to do some googling.

G'day mutch, welcome! Nice to see you got your A600 up and running again. Don't forget to join the Australian Amiga Users Group here on EAB and get to know the locals.
