Recreating the 1984 Boing Demo?

Hi everyone,

So what do we know?

This seems the only image we have:

I think we can ignore the blue background, as it doesn't show up on this shot:

Is the text therefore Blue, or Purple?

I've attached an IFF example of what I think it might be?

But what is the word behind the ball?

Is it worth someone trying to remake this demo? For me, the drop shadow is the only issue.

Note that the red colour also does not show up on the photo.

Yep, personally I would disregard the second photo when it comes to color choice.

I don't know. The second photo looks over saturated on the red scale, but why no red on the Boing ball? I can see faint lines which could be the purple, but the ball seems blue.

I think the first photo is a mock-up, because the shadow seems to be full black, when it should be semi-transparent.

I already tried it. It's a remake of the August 1985 version, not the 1984 version with the text in the background.
