8GB Card Workbench Install?
I'll keep it short and sweet.
I have an A1200 with Kickstart 3.1 Roms (version 40.68), 32 meg fast with an 030. I wish to go from a 4GB CF-Card to an 8GB. Due to partition size limitations around all this for my setup how would I go about using 8GB? Make 4 partitions under 2GB each or do I need to do something else? Cheers |

There is no such partition size limit.
There is a harddrive size limit of 4GB. Every partition you create outside the first 4GB of the harddrive will overwrite the corresponding area inside the first 4GB. Please read the relevant FAQs before you comlpain about data corruption or loss: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=61666 http://thomas-rapp.homepage.t-online.de/4gb_faq.html |
