Turrican 2 CDTV Worth This Much?
Is Turrican 2 CDTV Worth £186 in Very Good Condition or do you think this is overpriced? I'm assuming it's rare.

I think disc should have visible rainbow shine, not white http://hol.abime.net/1536/diskscan but maybe it's depending on lighting or scanner.

Don't ever trust prices on eBay as a way to define the value of something - to understand the real price you need to look at completed/sold auctions and see what's the ending price is.
That's the only way to understand how much the market wants to pay for something... and even so, it's most of the times overpriced as people on eBay like to throw money away! |

And if you really need an answer, well, this is, again, an offer from well-known rip-off merchant BastiBS. |

are you pondering what i'm pondering?
I wonder if it wouldn't be much cheaper to give only a 100 bucks to Manfred Trenz and ask him for his master. If he ever had one and had not sold it yet. Wait was he even involved in CD version development...
However, on all the pictures I could find it looks like he needs the money more than any of those greedy ebay sellers. I'd say a 100€ would be my limit for that game. Even in good condition. Let's say in that price segment one would normaly expect NeoGeoCD titles. But I'm not a real collector and I'm a bit stingy when it comes to games. And I have no clue how "rare" that game really is. Or maybe if someone just printed a selfmade CD and a booklet to make some easy money. Thats why I don't trust ebay. You never really know what you get. PS:A shame Trenz and THQ never finished Turrican3D.He had a big vison about his game and the developer had another vison about quick and easy money. Sad story and OT ,I know ,sorry for that. |

And here's a kixx label version of Turrican 2 for only 200.00 pounds. What nonsense.
People who charge these prices will be first in line for the pits of Tartarus. Long may they burn. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TURRICAN-I...6378437&rt=nc# |

Rarity 8
Hello there, that Kixx Version for sale at £200 is clearly overpriced. I agree with you there and i wouldn't pay that much for that copy. What your not seeing though is that the Rarity of the CDTV version is ranked at 8 meaning Rare. It even says on the Project 32 Website 'Expect to Pay Large amounts of Money for this version'. And if it's an Original release unlike the budget Kixx version it's going to increase the value of the game for the Collector. I've seen some Retro Games for sale like NES ones for over £1000. Cheers.
