Question Problem with IdeFix.

After (perhaps foolishly) using an IdeFix registration code found through EAB from here......I am now unable to access the partitions after the 4gig limit (I use SFS for this), and I also can't use HdInstTools anymore, because it crashes Does anyone know what's going on here? IdeFix used to work properly until using that registration code I sure hope I'm not screwed over, if so then I will

Any help is apreciated

no real clue, but: you can still access the boot partition? if so, try disabling idefix - remove entry in startup-sequence or user-startup. good luck.

To unregister IDEfix just delete idefix.library from Libs.

That code is illegal anyway. If you own Amiga Forever, it contains a legal code. Otherwise you can buy one here: http://www.vesalia.de/e_idemax97.htm

Yes, I can still boot. I've setup my hd to have all the essential stuff in the first four gigabytes so I can always boot

Thanks a ton mate

That's not something you'd normally think of, programs writing out librarys And you're right, of course, I should just register the software properly
