Gfx conversion tools from xyz to IFF without bells and whistles
Being a lazy person I decided not to search extensively or code one myself Anyway, is there a known to work non-windows-only tool that would input popular lossless compressed formats (PNG, GIF, BMP, ..) and spit out an IFF. The twist here is that simple palette cut is required e.g. 256 colors PNG to 8 color IFF without any "intelligent" processing just take the first 8 colors from the original palette and be happy.
I am about to test http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=77862 but hesitating since the girl in the example picture looks to be over my pay grade And there's no OSX version of the proggie. |
