Just out of curiosity, but how did you manage to install windows 3.1 on an emulated amiga?

Thanks. Include also some image identification info, like size, type, crc. There is always possibility for hacked versions..

Of course there is. See the box cover at HOL, it clearly states CDTV compatibility. Actually, DotC2 was never intended to be a CD32 game. It was just sold as one because the CDTV didn't do well on the marketplace.

I own DotC2 and a CDTV and it plays perfectly on the machine I've completed the game a couple of times on the CDTV (don't own a CD32)

If you mean it stops loading soon after CDTV logo, try starting emulation without CD installed, wait until CDTV title screen appears and then insert the CD (or mount virtual image)

btw, try to be more specific next time, thanks

Very cool news musashi5150

While you are at it do you think you could also test to see if these issues occur on real hardware:

Taken from the thread: DoTC2 winuae-prob?

1) Demonic voice (slow) after loosing a raid.
2) Game freezes / stops loading after rescuing a maiden.
Edit: just saw this post:

I've just tested it on my real CDTV and it seems fine - but there are maybe some issues in WinUAE. I'm sending my image to Toni to investigate

Cool

I should mention that when I've played / finished DOTC2 it's always been using CD32 settings in WinUAE...

Problem was hardware level CD audio stop command (="play cd audio from sector zero to sector zero") which didn't return expected status code.

Excellent Toni

So all good now hey?

When the new version of WinUAE containing the above fix is released I will play the game all the way through, test all previous mentioned bugs and report back...

Best to use the CDTV settings now instead of CD32 settings?

Yes.

CDTV = A500 = very exact emulation compared to CD32 (AGA)
