TPC cracktro's tune
Having checked my old ADFs I found a cracktro with an interesting tune that (so far) I coulnd't find on sites such as Janeway, Pouet, etc..
It is from a group called The Power Connection and it should be related to a prod called CAS-PRG (?). The mentioned coder is Red-Max while the sound should be from Bang. Does anyone know the name of this module? The file is attached. crTPC.zip |

Ciao !
The tune is a standard Protracker one The name of the module is "intro tpc.bang" In the samples there is written that "This song was made by bang of tpc" |

I have done it in the 1990s, converted to ADF a few years later and currently cleaning them up. Unfortunately one of the ADFs is badly broken, so I am checking whether I could recover the files. DiskSalv3 or DiskSalv4 didn't help so far. Moreover, some cracktros are from the Italian groups/spreaders/sysops, so many are not in pouet or Janeway as a comparisson (Xad, Insider, MakSoft). I wish to recover them and make also the WHDLoad with the generic slave. Some of them already work, while some works better on the genericKick 1.2 and I am embarking into the Asm-One to build the slave for them following the StingRay advice in another thread. I am also creating the AGS entries to launch them within the HstWB. The idea is to "zone" them once it is done. please find attached a screenshot of one of them. @Roc: great finding mate, I did not know that Bang was in TPC.
if you can share a RAR with all the releases that are not in Pouet/Janeway that would be candy! PS: Do you also have disks with Amiga music (modules)? |

Unfortunately no modules, because in 1990/1991 I was rather focusing on cracktros. Back in the days, I was calling them intros. I plan polishing them up and uploading during my upcoming annual leave. Ok. Question for the experts: I am struggling with the broken single cracktros. I remember someone mentioning a tool to repair single files rather than disks. Any idea which tool I could use for those? I already tried DiskSalv and now I am checking with ADFWorkshop Last edited by RoC; 30 June 2018 at 11:04. |

ADF-Workshop is great. I managed to recover four cracktros, one of them I was trying to recover for a long time. One is from Insider, a sysop/spreader who was operating here in Italy. If possibile I prefer to recover them myself, because it is a chance of learning how to do that (and have some fun), however in case I would be stuck I will be gladly ask for your help which is greatly appreciated. This is the Insider's cracktro just recovered. Another one not in Pouet/Janeway. |

@Roc: Thanks for letting me know mate. Please do not hesitate to share the other version of the TPC intro (with different music).
Could you make your archive of non Kestra/Pouet demos/intros available? Would be candy Cheerio |

It took longer than foreseen, because I had to re-ADFer them, however the scan is completed. You can find the details and the files here: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?p=1252007 Have fun |
