Abandoned Places

I need help in this game. I am very close to the beginning in the room with fire. I am trying to get into the temple but it says that the entrance is blocked. What should I do to enter the temple?

What location? Which dungeon? What temple? Maybe you don't have to enter it? What makes you think it is possible at all? etc
How about posting a save game to see - it may be easier than writing a lengthy description of the situation.
Perhaps somebody could help you

Like I already wrote. I am at the beginning of the whole game. I am in the big room with fire on the floor. There is only one entrance where I have not entered yet. So I am trying to enter and it says that it is blocked. I don't know what should write more. I wander everywhere looking for some secret buttons, levers, whatever. I have found nothing. It is the first dungeon. Name of the temple? I have no idea (yet).

Please post a savegame in the zone, or somewhere else to download.
Also which version of the game you are using.

WHDLoad savegame type (designed by Wepl which is NOT included in original game) would be OK?

What do you mean by that? Original installed on HD with WHDLoad.

There are different "versions" of the game. If it is really from an original you won't have problems later on

If the save game is 901120 bytes then yes, it is a simple disk image and that can be used with an original (what I'll do) and hopefully nothing is altered.
If it is not, then please play with the original version to the point where you are stuck. Since you say it is at the beginning, shouldn't be too hard.

No it is not. Author of WHDLoad made a great save game tool for this game. You can have up to ten save game positions and give them names. As far as I remember original game makes only one save game...

Original version from disks doesn't run on my config. That is why I use WHDLoad.

Ok. I managed to move forward in the game. But I have spotted onto another problem. I have already visited two dungeons. I recovered Book Of The World and I was told to go to the Mystic Mountains in search for Scroll. I cannot find those Mystic Mountains. Can anyone help me on this? Where is it on the map? I was everywhere and no luck getting any further...

Exclamation

*Bumps*
As IFW would be far too humble a soul to mention it, I think a little read of this site would explain exactly what he means regarding "multiple" versions!
It's a smaller world than you think sometimes, isn't it IFW?

The names of the game locations for AP1 are only available on the map coming with the original game... you see this works quite nicely

That's kind of unfortunate. Maybe someone with a map can give you the location here?

D'oh! That what comes from reading the postings waay too late at night. I recall AP2 getting extensive coverage/maps & playguides in The One (After it'd gone Amiga only/relaunched), but no idea if AP1 received such coverage.
