Would an Elbox 500/8 work in an A1000?

I noticed that that the Elbox 500/8 is still available from the manufacturer and I got to wondering if anyone knows if it would work/fit in an Amiga A1000?

You might need a CPU "relocator". Someone made this kind of little board to use an A500 accelerator inside one A1000.

there is a case support post just above the 68000 cpu on the 1000. Depends on the orientation of the Elbox and which way it goes round i.e. long part away from the post...

Would be cool if it works...

I don't remember who made those adaptors, but he is a member of EAB and that other site, too.

Look into the Amiga photos and you'll find the A1000 with the adaptor boards. He can make you one of those adaptors or give the archive to make your own.
