Winuae problems

I am new to the winuae emulator, but cant wait to get it working. Unfortunately I have not gotten it to work. I downloaded the 08.16.2 version of it, downloaded WB1 workbench, and 3.1 kick rom! I try running the winuae, and press f12 and set floppy to workbench, press ok, then computer says its successful, I set my graphics pixels and press ok. It then says rebooting, but then says disk does not exist again, like before.
Hoping to hear from someone soon, as I really would like to get it working and play great amiga games.
Thanks

ermm... try this link http://www.amiga.ukhq.co.uk/guide.htm
----
you must create your configuration (every tab) first then save your configuration, then click on the floppies tab and insert your workbench disk (ADF), then click on OK!!

Hi goto Winuae Homepage and download the latest version.

Okay now install and make sure you have the following Kickstarts:

Kick1.3 (For old Amiga 500 games)
Kick2.0 (For completeness)
Kick3.0 (For A1200 and AGA)
Kick3.1 (CD32 and WB3.1+)

Okay now hunt around the net for some game ADF's (like say archanoid.adf) or just look in the zone above, there might be a game up there!

okay run winuae and goto the ROM setting, now where it says ROM file: select your kickstart 1.3 rom file.

Next goto Ram and set it to either 512k (chip) and nothing else or 512k chip + 512k slow (and nothing else) this will cover most A500 games!

Now head to CPU and select 68000 and Match a500 speed (if you get a troublesome game also tick more compatible it might help!)

next goto display and set a screen mode (800x600 @16/32bit), cenetring on, fullscreen (if you want).

Chipset next and select OCS play around with other options for compatibility with games you cant get to work!

Hard drives leave alone for now, and sound 100%emlulated

Now got the floppies tab and load your downloaded ADF into DF0:

(make sure it is a bootdisk or Disk1 of a multidisk game!)

click okay and game should load...

other users will reply also!

Hope this helps
