Purple Saturn day

Downloaded Purple Saturn day from KG's WHDload, site...
To re-live nostalgia...
I have latest WHDload (registered)...It does not run...
It trys to the WHDload comes back with a DOS error can not load .game.
Can't find this file anywhere.

I've tried WinUAE as well as my A1200 same result.. 68020 min req.

Anyone else had this problem and found a solution.

According to this thread http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=31450 it needs to be unpacked in a special way.

Have and look and see how you get on

Unzip it within an Amiga environment, not in Windows and it should be fine.

Cheers Dave,

I used XP to unzip the folder into a HD dir linked to WINUAE...

So I need to put the zip file in a HDF first then unzip,
Does Classic WB have unzip tools???

I can understand that the filename format is probably to much for XP to cope with

And you too KG

You don't need to put it in an hdf at all.

Just put the zip file in a folder that WinUAE has access to, or just transfer the zip file to your real Amiga.

Then use Dopus or Wizarc (both in ClassicWB) to unpack the zip file.

Simple

And thank you very much for all your hard work in producing those excellent packs.

WARNING,, sales pitch coming...

All Amiga users should register WHDload and contribute, So many people work hard to keep our fave platform alive.

I've just registered and I agree with the above - It's well worth the few pounds
