Most Recent SurfSquirrel Software?

I have been trying to locate the most recent Surfsquirrel software. I find mention while I'm surfing of squirrelscsi.device v37.1823 but can find nowhere to download it from. I also haven't been able to locate squirrelserial.device v37.565. It says that it is in a DMS file on the Amiga Hardware site but doesn't appear to be there. Could someone give me a link to go to so that I can download these or leave them in the Zone? Maybe someone knows of even more recent drivers? Thanks,

Dan

I downloaded both files again where you sent me and I got the same results as the first time I did it. In the surfsquirrel203 file there is no squirrelserial.device file and the squirrelscsi file is v37.1765, not the v37.1823 that I was trying to find. In the surfsquirrel file there is a squirrelserial.device file but it is v37.531 and not the 37.565 that I was looking for. There also should be a surfsquirrel.library v40.45 that is in neither DMS file referenced above.

I got it!!! Thank You! One down and two to go. From what I'm reading I think the other 2 files I'm searching for were available on the HiSoft web site as upgrades. Hopefully someone downloaded them years ago and still has them.

Hi, as I own an Squirrel (although not tested yet) I found the following files (don't remember where) that I keep under my Dropbox so you can grab it as well. It contains 3 disks (the driver which I checked a minute ago was version 37.775)
- SquirrelSCSI (Driver) Disk1
- SquirrelSCSI (Shareware 1) Disk2
- SquirrelSCSI (Shareware 2) Disk3

Enjoy

The scsi driver was an older version on that disk. I am still seeking the other two files mentioned above. Any help would be appreciated. Someone must have had a surf squirrel with the most up-to-date drivers?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have returned to this project and I am still seeking:

1. squirrelscsi.device v37.1823

2. surfsquirrel.library v40.45

Does somebody who has or had a Squirrel or SurfSquirrel have these? Using my limited googling skills I can find them mentioned in cyberland a couple of times but can't locate the files. All of the usual sites where I find drivers and software don't seem to have these newer versions.

@Prowler

Not sure if it is the same disc.

The file I'm referring to is the one of the original disc I backed up from my Surf Squirrel before selling it.

Thanks, Dave!

Your SurfSquirrelJaz disk is quite different to the one on the Amiga Hardware Database, so it was well worth uploading!

I reckon so. The two disks are broadly similar, but your disk has more than twice as much information on it!

I will also download the disks and see if it has either of the files I am seeking. I never dreamed I would have the trouble I am having locating two files that I would have thought were in many peoples possesion. It is looking like they were released in the second half of 1998.
